Section 26A
Calculation of service period

(1) According to the Civil Service Act, 2049 prior to the 14th day of Jeshta 2054, the service period in the post of the same level of Nepal Health Service shall be counted for the purpose of promotion in accordance with this Act.
(2) Before the commencement of this section, the service period of the employees appointed at the sixth and seventh level after completing the process of the Public Service Commission will be counted for the purpose of upgrading or promotion to the higher level.
